The Chairman of the Sean Garland support committee, Chris Hudson MBE has announced the formation of a number of local
committees to further the aim of campaigning to have the US extradition demand for former Workers' Party President Sean Garland
"Since the launch of our national and international campaign on behalf of Sean Garland last month we have received
widespread support from members of the ”ireachtas, politicians in Northern Ireland and other prominent public figures.
I am now very pleased to be able to announce that we have extended that network with the formation of local committees in
a number of areas and several other such committees are in the process of being founded", said the Rev. Hudson.
The following is the composition of the newly formed commitees:
Dublin: Cllr. Eamon Tuffy, Cllr. Mannix Flynn, Tom Crilly, Malachy Steenson and Anne Finnegan.
Northern Ireland: Tom Gillen (Belfast), Bobby Hanvey (South Down) and Marian Donnelly (South Derry).
Cork: Cllr. Chris O'Leary, Cllr. Ted Tynan and John Bowen.
